Since its launch in December, our new third-party developer portal has been making waves. Partnerships and product teams working with APIs and integrations are thrilled to use it to create a developer experience that reduces touchpoints and simplifies the building process for external developers.
One Partner Fleet power user has already hit the ground running, setting up their systems with impressive efficiency. They credit Partner Fleet's comprehensive functionality and ease of use to this quick setup.
âEverything is in Partner Fleet making the experience seamless. And the easy automation allowed us to connect our processes outside of Partner Fleet.â
Hereâs what theyâve accomplished so far:
1. Created an 11-step onboarding process
Their existing process, which was 11 steps, is now fully visible to their third-party developers as soon as they apply and are approved to enter the program. This transparency allows developers to efficiently move through the program, and quickly knock off first steps to get to their sandbox.

2. Added a custom banner
âIn Partner Fleet, you can customize the banner your developers see when they log in. This allows for a warm welcome, key callouts, and to establish your brand alongside the partnership.

3. Invited 7 developer partners
It's important to get a few partners into your dev portal as soon as possible so you can get feedback. But you don't have to start everyone at the beginning. Feel free to add dev partners in at their stage and allow them to test out your portal.
Then you can also start looking at the admin pipeline view of who's in your program and how far they've progressed.

4. Embedded a PandaDoc form into the portal using Partner Fleet pages
This ensures their company receives a signed NDA without partners ever needing to leave Partner Fleet.

5. Made documentation available in the portal
They uploaded all API documentation, data flow diagrams, sales & marketing resources, and more, making them easily accessible to developers are working within their portal.

6. Set up automated email notifications
This company now sends out an automatic email using Partner Fleet for âintegration kickoffâ and âsandbox access." These emails are triggered when partners reach the right pipeline stage. They also automated notifications and ticket creation during the various check points in the pipeline.

7. Saved time
This customer is thrilled that they now have clear visibility into where partners are in the building process. They can plan their time, give special attention to the right partners at the right time, and increase the number of apps being built overall.
